Ensuring the best out of every student.

Our Individualised Learning team provides targeted support, extension opportunities and personalised learning plans for students with diverse needs — whether that means additional challenge, extra support or tailored adjustments to the learning environment.

We are committed to supporting high potential and gifted students by providing opportunities to extend their thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. While enrichment is woven into everyday classroom practice, students are also encouraged to engage in a range of academic challenges beyond the classroom.

These include competitions such as:

  • da Vinci Decathlon
  • Tournament of Minds
  • ICAS
  • along with other subject-based competitions.

Through these experiences, students are challenged to think deeply, collaborate with others, and apply their learning in new and meaningful contexts.

We support students for whom English is an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) through a combination of targeted intervention and in-class support.

Our EALD Specialist Teacher works across P–12 to provide focused assistance, helping students develop their English language proficiency while accessing the curriculum. This support is responsive to individual needs and is designed to build confidence, strengthen communication, and enable students to participate fully in their learning.

If you would like to access support or discuss your child’s needs, the first point of contact in the Junior School is your child’s classroom teacher, who knows their learning best and can work with the Individualised Learning team to determine appropriate next steps.

In the Senior School, parents are encouraged to contact their child’s Head of House or the Coordinator of Individualised Learning, who will guide the process and connect families with the relevant supports.

Our approach is collaborative and responsive, ensuring each student is supported to learn with confidence and to achieve their personal best.
