Leadership and Board

Tara is a dedicated and experienced educational leader with a diverse background across the independent, Catholic, and public school sectors in both the ACT and NSW. She holds a Bachelor of Visual Art from the Australian National University, a Graduate Diploma of Education from the Australian Catholic University, and a Master of Education (Educational Leadership) from Charles Sturt University. Tara’s teaching experience spans Kindergarten to Year 12, with recent experience working in School and System Improvement across the Catholic Diocese of Wagga Wagga. Tara brings a breadth of expertise in data analysis, strategic planning, curriculum and assessment, and literacy. She is deeply committed to improving the educational outcomes for all students.

With over 20 years of experience in education, Bianca Miller has worked across independent, Catholic, and public school sectors in both Australia and the United Kingdom. She holds a Bachelor of Education (Secondary Mathematics and History) from the University of Canberra, which included a cross-institutional History major through the Australian National University, and a Master of Education (Mathematics and Science Specialisation) from the University of Melbourne. Bianca has taught in multiple K-12 schools across regional and metropolitan areas, gaining extensive experience in student engagement, leadership, and school culture. Since joining The Riverina Anglican College in 2016, she has played a key role as Stage 6 Coordinator and Mathematics Teacher. As Director of Co-Curricular (K-12), Bianca oversees a dynamic range of programs that enrich student life beyond the classroom. With a strong focus on leadership, teamwork, and personal growth, she is committed to fostering inclusive opportunities that empower students to develop their skills, build confidence, and fully engage in school life.

Anthony Bosco joined The Riverina Anglican College in Term 2 from Trinity Grammar School in Syndey. Having been a Secondary English teacher for 16 years, an Extension 1 English teacher for 12 years, and anHSC Extension 1 English Marker for the past 5 years. Anthony has also been Assistant Head Of Faculty, Professional Learning Team Leader, Remote Teaching & Learning Leader, Experienced Teacher Supervisor Mentor, Housemaster and Master Teacher – Staff Mentoring and Development. Anthony also has over a decade’s experience in designing and facilitating teacher professional development courses.

Christopher is a passionate and experienced educator with over ten years of experience in the independent school sector. Having studied a Bachelor of Education (Humanities) and a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney, he began his teaching career at Arndell Anglican College. Christopher obtained a Master of Education (Leadership and Management) and a Master of Commerce (Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship; Marketing; and Human Resource Management). He moved to Blue Mountains Grammar School in 2014, teaching Legal Studies, Modern History, Extension History and Junior HSIE. He became a Head of House in 2016, and then Assistant Director – School improvement in 2020. Christopher has consistently worked to develop strategies to improve student experience on campus; including strengthening the Year 7 orientation program and Year 10 Senior Studies Program as well as leading the implementation of a whole school approach to student growth. Coming from a family of teachers, Christopher is passionate about developing an approach to education that encompasses growth of the student as a whole. A core tenet of his practice aims to ensure that both staff and students feel connected within their educational journey. Christopher believes that knowing each student is the key to ensuring that they can flourish on their own terms, particularly supported by the provision of a wide range of educational experiences and challenges.

Craig is an educator with 30 years’ experience across the both the independent and public-school sectors. During his career, Craig has taught across all areas of schooling from Kindergarten through to Year 12. He has led independent K-12 schools in regional NSW for the last 16 years, most recently for 9 years as the Headmaster at Macquarie Anglican Grammar School. Craig is passionate about developing high quality, Christian educational communities that develop every student as both an individual and a member of their community and equip them to make a positive difference in their world. He is a member of the Association of Heads of Independent Schools of Australia and Heads of Independent Co-Educational Schools.

Anthony is an experienced educator with 25 years in the independent and public school sectors. He has been at the College since 2013, serving as Secondary School Head of English before advancing to the role of Deputy Principal Teaching, Learning and Innovation in 2018. Throughout his academic career, Anthony has taught a number of subjects from both the International Baccalaureate and Higher School Certificate (HSC) including: Ancient History, English A: Language and Literature, Standard English, Advanced English, English Extension 1, English Extension 2, History Extension, and Modern History. He has marked the HSC, as well as trained in Growth Coaching, Visible Learning, Cultures of Thinking, and is a member of the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership.

Anton is a Fellow of CPA Australia with 30 years’ experience in health care, manufacturing, logistics and professional services. He has held Executive Management roles in health care for almost two decades. Anton is experienced in all aspects of business including development of strategic and financial plans, operational performance management and business improvement, development and oversight of capital works programs, the management of human resources and staff culture, risk management, financial reporting and compliance. He feels blessed to have had the opportunity to work for two mission based health care providers and The Riverina Anglican College where he has been able to contribute to the sustainability and growth of these organisations and make a difference to the welfare of our community.

Mark is a Barrister of the Supreme Court of New South Wales with 25 years’ experience in the criminal justice system. He held roles with the New South Wales Police as a detective, Independent Commission Against Corruption as an investigator, Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and Aboriginal Legal Service as a solicitor, and Crown Prosecutors’ chambers and Public Defenders’ chambers as a barrister. Mark holds Master level qualifications in Law and is experienced in investigation, legal analysis, risk management and compliance. Mark is a worshiping member of the Anglican Parish of South Wagga Wagga and is deeply committed to fostering Christian values, academic excellence, and sporting success at the College.

Catherine joined the Riverina Anglican College Board in 2023. She lives and works on a farm near Ganmain, bringing extensive experience in office management, bookkeeping, and agricultural operations. She is passionate about supporting rural education and values the opportunity to contribute to the College community. Catherine’s practical expertise and strong commitment to community engagement provide valuable insight and perspective to the Board.

Mark is a Wagga Wagga local, having grown up in the Riverina. After moving to Sydney to complete his engineering degree, he entered Theological College and trained for Anglican ministry. A country pastor at heart, Mark has served as a Vicar/Rector, and now Assistant Priest, in three different country and regional parishes. He is highly committed to the Riverina Anglican College, both as a parent and clergyman.

Andrew brings sector experience from his service as a Business Manager for regional and accessible fee independent schools in NSW. From there, he represented one of the largest providers of Anglican education to all levels of government throughout the Gonski funding campaigns and by successfully advocating for capital funding grants for independent schools in high growth areas. Andrew is currently the Administrator for the St Mark’s National Theological Centre which is a partner in the School of Theology at Charles Sturt University. Andrew brings over 25 years of company director experience including 3 terms as an elected Councillor on the largest regional Council in NSW. Married to Natalie, a Head teacher of Creative and Performing Arts, their family attends St Matt’s Wanniassa Anglican Church.

Scott was appointed to the Riverina Anglican College Board in December 2021 and has served as Chair since 2023. He is the Rector of the Anglican Parish of South Wagga Wagga, a position he has held since 2016. Prior to this, Scott served as Senior Assistant Minister at Dapto Anglican Church (2010–2016) and previously worked as a Registered Nurse and business owner of a first aid and safety training franchise. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Theology, along with certificates in Clinical Pastoral Education and Marriage Education. Scott is currently undertaking PhD research and has been published in the field of New Testament studies. Scott is deeply committed to the College’s vision of fostering academic excellence and Christian formation.

Heather Walsh has been involved with The Riverina Anglican College since June 2019. Heather is the Director School Operations of the Canberra/Goulburn Diocese, a role she has undertaken since June 2015. Prior to her current role, Heather worked at the Chief Operating Office of Canberra Girls Grammar. Heather has worked in international education and the not for profit sector. Heather has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and CPA Australia.
