Mrs Kate Wickson
As one of our Junior School Foundational Teachers, Kate Wickson brings over 30 years of experience and knowledge to the role of Head of Junior School. During her career, Kate has taught all grade levels from Kindergarten to Year 6, predominantly within the Catholic education sector. Additional executive leadership roles have enabled her to develop expertise in curriculum, student wellbeing, staff development, and school improvement. Her passion lies in creating a Junior School where every child is known, valued, and inspired to achieve their personal best, within a culture that nurtures both academic growth and wellbeing. Kate is equally passionate about building a team of educators who are highly knowledgeable in their practice and deeply relational in their approach to teaching and learning. Beyond education, Kate has demonstrated her commitment to leadership and service, as a Judge and Councillor of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, chairing and serving on several Royal Easter Show committees. Her broad leadership experience, collaborative approach, and genuine care for people ensure she leads the Junior School with authenticity, vision, and a strong sense of community.
