Kids’ Shed

Meets in the Design and Technology building Wednesday lunch time for wood and metal work and Thursday lunch time for textiles.  All students welcome whether or not they do the corresponding elective classes. 

Running Club

All students are welcome to join the PE staff for a run before school departing from the gym at 7.30am on Fridays. Breakfast provided after the run.

Chess

A group of keen chess players meets one lunchtime per week for tuition and friendly competition. All years and abilities welcome.

Minecraft Club

One lunch time per week this group meets to play the computer game Minecraft as an activity of collaborative game play.

Debating

Students who are interested in debating may compete for places on the College debating teams. Annual activities include the Riverina Independent Schools Competition which involves students from all years.

The Lunchtime Fellowship Group

One lunch time per week this group meets to learn more about being Christian in a fun way.

Duke of Edinburgh Award

A youth self-development programme for all young people which is non-competitive and encourages the setting and achieving of goals at an appropriate level. There are four sections that must be completed for a young person to qualify for the award: Community Service, Skills, Recreation and Expedition. These provide an opportunity for students to acquire and develop skills, initiative and self-esteem which will help them become more confident members of the community. The scheme is highly regarded by employers. The scheme has three Award levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Year 9 students may start at the Bronze level. For more information please click here.
